HOD MASS COM: STRICT ADHERENCE TO COVID-19

FEDPOFFA MASS COMMUNICATION BOSS ADVOCATES STRICT ADHERENCE TO COVID-19 PROTOCOLS EVEN AS HE CHARGED ALL TO NOTE THAT  THE VIRUS EXISTS. 

In the meantime, the Head, Mass Communication department, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Mr Alawode has called for strict adherence to all Covid-19 protocols just as he advocated for proper social distancing during lecture.

The HOD made the disclosure on Wednesday while addressing HND 1 students of his department on the key measure of the curtailment of covid-19 during lecture.

He said there is no doubt that the killer virus exists adding that all protocols already laid down by health officials should be strictly adhered to.

Mr. Alawode also charged all students to follow all protocols of the department like wearing of the department dress code (white and black) among others.

According to him " there is no doubt that covid-19 exists in the society and everyone must take his/her part towards mitigating the spread of the dreaded virus in the school.

He however enjoined all and sundry not to join league of the people who did not believe that the virus exists saying he has for once witness a victim of the killer virus.

While speaking on the class strength, the Head of Department ordered that the class be divided into groups containing 220 each who will be attending class at a time.

This he said would help in achieving social distancing during lecture.

You will recall that school reopening among other steps taking by the federal government has been under review as the second wave of the virus continues to escalate on a daily basis.
