JUBILATIONS AS ADEKUNLE KEHINDE (KENNY SP) EMERGES FEDPOFFA BOSS.

Comr. Adekunle Fatai Kehinde popularly known as Kennie SP  has emerged the winner of Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara state, Students’ Union Presidential election.

The students also elects former  Assistance General secretary of the union, Comr. Omoniyi Jamiu known as General Jamo, as the Vice President of (Academics) of the union.

The election that commenced  at  exactly 11 am  and ends 2 o'clock Friday afternoon was conducted via   E-voting. 

According to reports, the just concluded election has been one of the most successful and peaceful Student Union election that has been conducted so far in the history of the institution.

This results was announced on Friday by the Independent College Electoral Committee(ICEC) chairman, Comrade Kamorudeen Akeem a.k.a Kebe.

According to him, Comr. Adekunle Kehinde, a student of the Faculty of Business and Management studies polled 3,040 votes, defeating his nearest political rival, Alabi Karimot Temitope also known as Ironlady who polled 1,300 votes.

The ICEC chairman while declaring results of the election maintained  that Kennie SP, having polled a majority of the votes cast at the online polls, is declared the winner of the election.

Others elected in the election includes:

 Kolawole Qudus ( aka K success) GENERAL SECRETARY, 

 Omoniyi Jamiu ( aka Gen Jamo) -VICE PRESIDENT (Academic), Adebayo Ahmed Adekunle ( aka Skido Aluta) VICE PRESIDENT (Admin.), 

 Oluwole Kayode Martins. ( aka Kay Blaq), FINANCIAL SECRETARY, 

Jimoh Ismail Micheal (aka Dj Timo) WELFARE DIRECTOR 1, Muhideen Muritala Oladayo (aka Deewhy) WELFARE.

Others includes  Olarewaju Kazeem ( aka Eclectic) P.R.O, 

Ayetoba Samuel (aka Samstar) SOCIAL DIRECTOR 1, Almuniru Abduraheem (aka Almuniru) TREASURER, Hammed Olaniyi ( aka Santana) AGS, 

 Adeyemi Oluwatosin ( aka Free Style) PRO 2 Abdulfatai Basirat Motunrayo( aka Barbie)

Shortly after the election, done students took to the mini campus gate of the school to express satisfaction and joy over result of the election.

One of the supporters who spoke with journalist said it's a welcome development been the choice of the students.

In his speech after announcement of the  election, the newly elected president appreciates  the entire students and his supporters saying such a landmark success can't be achieved without them.
