JUST IN: Nigerian Soldier Kills DSS Officer, See What Led To That

Scores of citizens took to the streets and shouted as gunshots rang out in Ado- Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, during an exchange that resulted in an unknown soldier apparently killing an employee of the DSS.

The DAILY INDEPENDENT was made aware of the terrible occurrence that occurred at the popular KSSD Hotel located at NTA Road, which occurred Friday evening.

 

It was said that a soldier had made an indecent proposition to a young guy thought to be an internet fraudster at the Hotel, who had spotted a familiar face just as the military was capturing him, and that it was DSS agent Rick Serros, who was the subject of that allegation.

The death of the deceased had an impact on the rest of the group when the corpse became a factor in the soldier' s unwillingness to let the suspect go.

After finding out that the DSS (the Ministry of Security) was involved, the soldier allegedly stabbed the DSS employee in the neck, which resulted in his death a few hours later.

About an hour after he was admitted to the state hospital, he succumbed to his illness.

 

When the DSS operatives were claimed to have stormed the hotel and taken the suspect soldier into custody, there were fewer than fifteen minutes remaining.

Reacting to the event, a Police Public Relations Officer from the Ekiti Police Department, ASP Sunday Abutu, reported that the victim was killed after an argument with some troops and that the police are investigating the situation.

It was reported that a DSS operative was slain yesterday after an altercation with some soldiers turned into a heated confrontation.

The corpse of the deceased had been deposited in the morgue. The arrest of the perpetrators of the murder has taken place.

I would also like to mention that our investigators have begun an inquiry and will ultimately arrive at the bottom of the matter, " Abutu stated.
