Bandits attack police station, kidnap seven at Leprosy Centre

Bandits in the early hours of Sunday attacked Saye Divisional Police headquarters in Zaria, Kaduna state.

The attack, The Nation, learnt was carried out simultaneously with another on the staff quarters of National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Training Centre, Zaria where seven persons, including nursing mothers were kidnapped.

A source from the area, who confirmed no life was lost in the two attacks, said the bandits attacked the station to prevent the operatives from foiling the kidnap operation at the Leprosy Centre.
