ONDO STATE GOV: RETURNED TO NIGERIA SECRETLY AFTER 21 DAYS

Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has returned to Nigeria after a 21-day medical leave in Germany.

He was expected to return on July 6. Akeredolu's deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been acting as Acting Governor in his absence.

He is currently in Ibadan but will return to Ondo anytime soon to return to work. Akeredolu's wife, Betty, announced the suspension of activities for her 70th birthday celebration on July 9, citing unforeseen circumstances beyond her control.

She assures that Akeredolu will be celebrated in style upon his return.
